But before we get into the seven simple steps, realise one thing in life. There is no such thing as failure, it is a non-existent entity that we have created in our minds. One that we give so much power over us, it often ends in misery.
It is impossible to fail as long as you keep going no matter how long. You might want to replace the word “failing” in your mind with “learning”. Replace the word “defeat” with “opportunity” because you learned!

Step One — Stop doubting yourself right now! No matter your level of skill or knowledge, others have “done it” before you. And so can you. That is the most important change you must make to reduce your chances of failure to zero.

Step Three — Break the chains holding you down! Oh, I will never be able to do that, I don’t have money. I don’t have time, I lack the means, there are too many people better at this. STOP! Find ways around everything you think is stopping you. Because only your mind can stop you!

Step Four — Find what you love doing most! That is your key to success, you must find what you love doing most. Then you must work with that and find ways to prosper from that. Start with a hobby and see how fast that “hobby” turns into something spectacular!

Step Five — Find one thing to be thankful for each day! Did you eat today? Well, a lot of people didn’t. Did you sleep well last night? Millions of people haven’t. Did you enjoy your morning coffee? Well, many people don’t even have homes, let alone coffee!
Find one thing to be thankful for every day, no matter how insignificant you may think it might be. Find appreciation in the little things, and slowly but surely joy will find you no matter your circumstances!

Step Six — Attract the right energy your way! When you make someone else feel appreciated and special. Universal energy got a funny way of returning that, the same goes for when you are the cause of someone else’s misery. Be careful how you treat people. In fact, be careful how you treat all other life on this rock we call home.
What you send out is what you will receive in return, no matter how miserable you might be. You can still always be kind, it’s called integrity. Kindness is not a weakness; people often confuse these two.

Step Seven — Keep repeating steps One to Six until your mind accepts it! It might take some time because we have all been conditioned to believe that failure actually exists.
Always remember that success is just a series of learning curves that will come together eventually. That goes for absolutely anything and everything in life. Ever heard people saying, “Fail your way to success!”?
Because it is not “failure”, it is called “learning”. It is not “defeat”, it is a fresh “opportunity” that is presenting itself. Change your perception of “failure” and “defeat”.

I went from having no computer skills at all, no money to invest, and maintaining a day job while chasing my dream. To where I am today, thanks to these simple steps or rather mindset changes.
Trust me when I say, if I could do it then so can you. As a qualified electrician, I decided that I wanted to be a successful online entrepreneur. And I was and will not stop for anything until I am.
With limited knowledge at the time (13 years ago). The idea of working from home and making money online started with a single email. Needless to say, the product in the email received didn’t work for me. I “failed”, again!

If you perceive every little “bend in the road” as a “concrete block” you just hit at full speed with no way around. You are just placing yourself in a prison of “failure” that doesn’t exist.
We all have scars; we have all broken down at some point. Many of us have in more ways than we can remember. When you go through a hard time, rest assured you are not the only one. Stay focussed!

Life is unfair, deal with it! The sooner you realize that and start doing something about your situation, the faster things will change for you. And yes, I do speak from experience.
Failing, or rather “learning” for nearly a decade (which felt like an eternity) resulted in one spectacular gain. A vault of knowledge I never thought I would have in a million years.
First, you must decide “who you are” before you can be “who you want to be”. Are you “king or queen” material or just “another face in the crowd” material? It matters how you see yourself when you look in the mirror.
Lastly, once you have decided and you start growing in that decision as a power to be reckoned with. Then never forget where you came from. Once you reach success, it does not mean you have the right to belittle others with arrogance.
Because kindness will always outperform arrogance, any time of the day. Always maintain kindness, stay humble and offer value to others. Then the universe will respond accordingly.
